RX-0 Unicorn Gundam
What a fun kit to build and modify, I really tested a lot of my abilities and put some new ones to work as well. There are a few imperfections here and there, but I hope at least as I continue to build you are noticing less and less every time. I went with the suggestion of making this guy permanently destroy modded out. By cutting away some areas I gave way to more of the underlying armor pieces to be seen. The paint scheme is an Urban Tactical one. Granted it would be hard to hide any where in destroy mode, but who cares...its not like were talking about reality here. The Guns are still in work and will be a little while as I have to find the patience to mask them, I don't have that today anyway. I barely beat the rain while taking pictures as it was. Hope you enjoy.

Unicorn.....Almost complete
Well the wait is almost over! I just completed the decals on the MG Unicorn. Some times custom just equals a lot of extra thought. Mindless copy and paste of the decals per the directions is so much fast, but not my style (darn my style). Just need to get the clear coat done now; I hope that the weather holds for me tomorrow so I can get the it done.
The winning color scheme is an Urban Tactical one, modified the outer armor so that there is extra destroy mode exposed. So needless to say my Unicorn will never be a true Unicorn. I like Destroy mode anyway, and I see no need to swap between modes once positioned and on its stand.
Hope to have the photos posted Saturday night or Sunday morning.

The Unicorn is painted
While there are no photos....because I do not want any one to see it in its final color scheme until I am 100% done with it. The body is done and panel lined. Decals will be started tomorrow, along with starting on the weapons. I am taking my time on them to ensure some interesting results. Needless to say I did not go with a traditional color scheme on this guy at all!
An update to ensure peaked curiosity. It will be a good one trust me!

Unicorn WIP 2
All right this is a small one. All the scribe work is done. I tried to stay with the style of the Unicorn and do a lot of angles. I went with the suggestion of trying to show more of the destroy mode (pink for right now) I have one leg done. It takes a lot of shifting between modes to see what will look right or even be seen at all. The angles closed aren't perfect, but open I think they look good. The arms and chest are next, but there is as I stated before, a lot of looking 3 and 4 times before I cut. Just thought it was time for a tease. Color scheme suggestion are still open, I have an idea, but will take what people have to see what can be done.

Hope you enjoyed.

Unicorn WIP 1 Snapfit
While waiting on the weather to clear up here I finished the snap fit on my MG Unicorn. It is a sweet Gunpla for sure, my challenge is what color scheme to use? I know it want the destroy mode pieces to be painted in clear orange, but the body I am at a loss. This is why this guy sat in its box half built for quite some time now. I really don't know what direction to go. Leave it as is white, or do something bold to it. Any thoughts are appreciated.
