The, Paint and rebuild complete. Its still a WIP(7) though.

All right!!! This huge project is coming to an end! I finished panel lining it last night took a little longer than it normally does, but it came out nicely. Took some early morning photos for you to enjoy. This guy is 90% done at this point I need to do some planning on the decal placement. I might actually follow directions who knows....not likely. The eye looks great, thanks Gundam Guy!

And there you have it. The improved Heavy Weapons version The O.

  1. This Heavy Weapons ver of The O is great. The custom beam cannon is so UC era zeta-lish. I can't even tell it was from the freedom gundam.

Many has said that The O lacks detail as a MG kit. But you certainly changed that with all the custom panel line and holes that you added on.

The tank look of this version reminds me of the YMS-16M Xamel from Gundam 0083 OVA. That was one of my favorite artillery grunt Zeon unit.

    Another fine build by Tember.....The 0 Ver.Tem

  2. What kind words! Thank you for the compliment.
I would have to agree with those that say the MG O lacks detail as compared to the F91 I just opened this thing in a blank slate, but that is where the fun comes in for me at least. Adding the extra weapons gives this guy the intimidation factor I felt he should have had. I will say that full customization is a ways off for me skills wise, but I will continue to work on it and see what I can do. Onto the PG 00 Raiser 900+ pieces of joy!!! Just got $30 in paint yesterday. I will leave it at that.

  3. I'm not really a fan of the design of The-O, but I can certainly appreciate and admire all the effort you put into this kit. You've turned what was probably a mediocre looking kit by Bandai into a a real showpiece. The additional weapons and colors really work to enhance the overall look of the kit. You sir, have got some mad skills! Keep up the great work!

  4. I agree it lacks detail, but that is why I bought it. I looked at it as a blank slate for my scibing tool and in this case my drill :). I think Bandai is forced to sticking to the designs of the anime and not going to far from that or people will complain. Just as some people may not like my designs. Thank you for the compliment though.
